Oi, gah.

Melissande looked at her Bio book in dismay, wishing for all the world she could up and throw it down the toilet. Unfortunately (or fortunately, for the book) she needed it to pass the rest of the term, and so the exhausted senior just deliberately accidentally pushed it off her desk. It landed on the wooden floor with a loud BANG!

"Oops." quipped the girl, rolling her hazel eyes. She was wearing her eyeglasses that evening, the metal brown ones that totally didn't complement anything she ever planned on wearing. Ever. If Melli could just go on wearing contacts for the rest of her life, she would, but her optometrist (who knew of Melli's distaste for the darned things) told her sternly that she should let her eyes rest sometimes and wear the glasses. The good doctor threatened her about the possibility of losing her eyesight, and all the things she couldn't do without seeing. Needless to say, Melli followed her instructions to the letter.

Melissande was alone that evening, Rena having gone somewhere fun and left her behind... then again it was her own decision. Cheerleading was still a non-option, since the season hadn't started yet, and Melli thought to remedy her Bio grade to something resembling a pass so she could graduate (hopefully) come June. She didn't know how mind-bogglingly boring it was to study... mostly because she hadn't done that kind of studying since ever.

Boring, boring, boring... gah, I wonder where Cali is... she thought, bouncing onto her bed in dismay. A loud knock and a "Knock! Knock! Anybody here?" immediately brightened up Melli's face, and she looked towards the door to see Cali's familiar blonde head poking in.

"Hey girl, I was just thinking about you!! God, did you see that Bio thing? Pure murder, that's what it is..." she said, moaning.
